What is Vini?
Vini is procurement software designed specifically for professional wine buyers. It’s a cloud-based solution that streamlines the procurement process by providing tools to standardise, compare, and enrich all wine offers, facilitating informed purchase decisions. Through Vini you will have access to the offers of your own supplier network and from other Vini members, ensuring you always have the best options for your business.
Who can Join Vini?
Membership to Vini is open only to wine businesses, including: merchants, negociants, producers, importers, e-commerce, retailers or wine investment funds. To be able to join Vini you will need a registered VAT number in your country. Our membership committee checks and approves each member with industry references being considered.
Is Vini right for my company?
Vini is built for companies of all shapes and sizes. If you are dealing with a variety of wine suppliers and receive multiple offers. Vini is the ideal place for you to structure this data. With all your buying options standardised and compared, you have time to focus on relationships and negotiations.
How do memberships work?
When you sign up for a monthly membership you’ll get a 30-day free trial, once your trial period is over, your paid subscription starts and automatically renews every month. When you sign up for an annual membership, your subscription starts immediately and will renew each year. Don't worry, we'll remind you when your renewal is coming up!
What if I exceed my plan’s limit?
If you exceed your limit, you will be given the choice to upgrade to the next available plan for the remainder of your subscription period.
How does the free trial work?
Our free trial will provide you with a full version of your desired plan for thirty days. After the 30 day trial you will automatically be downgraded to our freemium plan if you do nothing. If you choose to keep your paid plan, you will continue benefiting from all features.
Data
Will my data be private and safe?
We take data security seriously at Vini. Our servers are hosted in a world class data center and we ensure that our applications are up to date with the latest security patches. All rights to your data are maintained by you. Your contact data will never be shared or sold to a third party.
Are prices for single bottles or cases?
Prices are standardised to single bottles unless stated otherwise.
Can I purchase loose bottles?
Depending on the offer you can always request to purchase single bottles. Although most of the offers come in packs of 3s, 6s or 12s.
What is OC?
OC = Original Carton This means that the wines of that specific offer are packed in their Original Cartons
What is OWC?
OWC = Original wooden case This means that the wines of that specific offer are packed in their Original Wooden Cases
What is Market Price?
Market prices are based on the lowest prices offered for those wines that can be found on the internet.
Requests
What does request mean?
By clicking “request” you will be inquiring about a specific offer. This does not mean you are confirming a purchase. By clicking on request you are inquiring about availability, packaging, reservation or pictures.
How do I place a request?
Clicking on the request button next to the offer and selecting what you want to inquire about.
How do I know when I get the information I inquired about in my request?
On the request tab, you will see the status pending, as soon as we get the information you need to make your decision the status will change to approved and the table will show the data you need to make your decision. You will receive an email and notification with the status change
How do I confirm an order?
Click on CONFIRM on the request page created for that offer. This will send your confirmation automatically and the order will be placed. Your order will appear under the Orders tab.
Payments
What are the payment terms for a purchase made to vini.wine?
Our payment terms are 15 days from when the statement is issued. If you do not pay within these terms, your account will be held with restrictions.
How should I reference my payments to Vini?
Please provide the Vini invoice number (VI xxxxx) followed by your company Name If you are unable to enter references to your payment when making a bank transfer, please send an email with the details to finance@vini.wine
Logistics
Logistics (vini.wine): Where to pick up the goods?
Goods purchased from vini.wine will be made available in one of our warehouse hubs depending on the location of the wines. The location Marked with a (UK flag) or (EU flag) next to each offer: The United Kingdom: London City Bond, Unit 2. Address: Gateway Road, Barton Under Needwood,Staffordshire DE13 8FL Europe: Dartess Bruges 2 (Bordeaux: Address: ZI de Bordeaux Fret, 14 Rue de Strasbourg, 33520 Bruges, France Wines will be made available in 10-15 working days after the payment has been received.
Logistics (own network): Where to pick up the goods?
If purchases are made to suppliers of your network, logistics will be handled as usual by your team following the agreement you have with your partners.
